At Innisfail State School we believe that we can play a vital role in promoting healthy, active lifestyles for our students.

Our Smart Choices tuckshop plays a very important role in the school. It can be viewed as the central hub or 'engine room' within the school that keeps students' 'fuel' supplies topped up and, in addition, supports social and learning objectives throughout the school. As an integral part of the school it has responsibilities beyond those of the corner store or takeaway food store.
Our dedicated and efficient Tuckshop Convenors - Joanne Romano and Gail Zammit - and their committed team of parent helpers, run the tuckshop daily and never fail to provide teachers and students alike with healthy meals and snacks that adhere to our Nutrition Policy as part of the Health Promoting Schools initiative.

Our Tuckshop is open daily. Orders are made through a 'Paper Bag System', or over the counter between 8.30 am to 9 am. The Tuckshop Menu caters for both Big Lunch(11am - 11.40) and Afternoon Tea (1.30 pm - 1.50pm).
The Tuckshop only sells over-the-counter items at Big Lunch.
When purchasing Tuckshop over-the-counter, we always remember to practice courtesy and use our manners.
