Getting to know our school - from Kindy to the first year of school (Prep)
Our school has a number of transition and orientation activities planned throughout the year and we encourage all children and parents to join us for as many of the following activities as possible.
1. Enrolment Interviews
A short enrolment interview will be scheduled after completed enrolment applications have been received by our office. Our enrolment interviews provide an important opportunity to share information about your child and our school.
2. Prep 'Open Classrooms'
Parents and prospective prep students are invited to come and observe our Prep class in action. This session provides opportunities for parents to talk with members of the school team about our school and Prep expectations, and to walk through and see our classrooms.

3. Prep Orientation Sessions
Parents with prospective Prep students are encouraged to attend our orientation sessions, The sessions, led by our Prep teacher and will be in the Prep classroom, with other Kindy kids. They are designed to give your child an opportunity to experience learning in the Prep classroom with our teachers and meet some of the other children coming to Prep.

4. Kindy Playtime
Our local Kindy providers are welcome to bring their Kindy group to our school for a Prep classroom story and some outside playground time.
5. Individual Student Transition Program
For students with NDIS support and unique learning needs, difficulties or disabilities, we encourage time to meet with our SEP teachers and/or Deputy Principal - Canecutters Cluster SEP to discuss activities and plans which may help support successful transition for students and their families.
